Increased-safety die-cast aluminium junction and terminal boxes for Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22, in seven certified shapes.
EX-PD66 is a range of die-cast aluminium (ADC12) junction and terminal boxes, Ex eb IIC T6…T4 Gb for gas Zones 1 and 2 and Ex tb IIIC T80 °C…T110 °C Db for dust Zones 21 and 22, sealed to IP65 with stainless exposed fasteners. The protection concept is increased safety: sparks and hot spots are prevented by certified terminals and controlled creepage and clearance, rather than contained.
Seven certified shapes run from 135 × 135 × 96 mm (66-A) to 400 × 500 × 150 mm (66-G), under certificate IECEx TUR 26.0013X. Each box is assembled to order with certified WDU / UK series terminals, at up to 690 V; the nameplate states the rating and ambient limits of the finished assembly.
